Keep Family Contact

By October 10th, 2009

My Mom was always the talker in our family and she would always call and keep everyone up to date as to what was going on with everybody else in the family.  When she passed away about 6 months ago, we wanted to find a way to keep all of our families in touch.  The website that we have been using is called MyFamily.com.  This site has enabled us to keep in contact with each other’s lives by viewing pictures, news, polls, etc.   My wife’s family has also found this site very successful at helping them keep in contact with one another.  There are other sites and tools that can be used as well such as Facebook, chatting programs, good old email, and more.  Keeping a family close together is one of the important teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  They have some great resources on building strong families on their web site.
